Outward Differences Between Kinetic and Vespa Engines

Here are some side by side pics of the engines.
I am still planning on putting together a variator (cvt) system from a Vespa Grande to get better acceleration. Outwardly, the biggest difference that I see in the engine is that the crankshaft on the Kinetic is longer than the one on the grande motor. The flat side of the shaft is longer on the vespa engine, too. This is the part that the variator connects to, so i think that I have to use a vespa crank.
