Thanks

If anyone out there has noticed, I haven’t contributed content to this site in almost a year. My initial intent for the site was to give back a little to the internet community. Most of what we get from the web is created for free by someone else and I sort of felt like it was time to chip in.

A short time ago, my wife and I had a baby (our second) and some of my personal interests were set to the side for a while. Sadly this has included responding to all the emails from TFR owners and other sorts of moped people.

My hosting is up in a few weeks and I don’t think that i can find a way to really justify the cost of hosting. I will try and figure something out.

Hey, man. Congrats on your second child! Well-wishes abound.

So, I just wanted to chime in that your blog was an invaluable resource in getting my two TFRs up and running. Your efforts are saluted heartily! Oddly enough, I actually got my first TFR, an ‘06, in Chicago for a cool 250 with a lemon motor (didn’t know it at the time, of course. -_-) Imagine my surprise when the preeminent resource on TFRs was scant miles from where I got the bugger! Har.

Have you considered seeing if you can get some volunteers from the Moped Army forums to comb the articles on the blog and see if anything can be added to the articles index over at Moped Army, or to the Wiki? Hell, I’d throw some money at a pay pal link if I thought it’d help.

Regardless, thank you for having taken the time out of your life to produce this blog. I’d probably have sold the damn thing for scrap with out it. Now I’m about to buy a Grande since I’ve taken a shine to the motor.

So, yeah. Thank you, man. I hope you can work something out.

    Cheers.

Hey thanks. I am in the middle of re-approaching the site and updating links, and finding a way to keep this site running. Not that it’s all that expensive for hosting, but it certainly isn’t free and I would like to continue to develop new content.

I will keep you all updated. In the meantime, if anyone has any ideas on what they would like to see here, please let me know.
