My name is Ryan. I live in Chicago. I bought a moped and started this blog.
The moped is a kinetic TFR and I ordered it new from a place in Florida. I am fairly mechanically inclined, but I have never worked on a moped before. I rebuilt a couple of motorcycles back in the mid 90’s. Well, not really rebuilt. They never really ran. Yeah. Come to think of it, we totally fucked them up. Regardless, I am totally psyched about modifying this moped and documenting the whole thing.
I was really disappointed at the lack of decent information out there about the Kinetic TFR. Even the company that manufactures (manufactured?) it seems to not give it any space on their Web site. So I set up this blog to go with the tfr and hope that maybe someone, somewhere will benefit from it.
If you are viewing this site using Safari for mac or earlier versions of IE (5 and below for mac or pc) some of the images may stretch across the page or the column position may be messed up. It has to do with those browsers not supporting the very useful “max-with” tag for CSS that is used extensively in Wordpress blogs.
Why in the world aren’t you using Firefox anyway???
